Good Morning,
Matt and I stayed at the hotel last night to try and get some rest. It was really hard to leave Ethan here last night but we knew that if we stayed we really wouldn't get any rest with all the beeping and alarms that go off . Ethan is doing great this morning and had a great night. Actually he is moving around so much that he kicked his IV out. They have decreased the amount of oxygen he is getting and he is tolerating it great so they should start removing tubes by lunch today. Doctor Knott-Craig said that Ethan is doing as well as he can be doing which is great news. As soon as we know for sure if and when they start taking out tubes we will update the blog with information and new pics.
PLEASE KEEP PRAYING THAT HIS BODY WILL ACCEPT EVERYTHING AND BE WORKING BY ITSELF SOON. THANKS FOR EVERYTHING!!!!

Great news of the morning report about Ethan. And I am glad you and Matt were able to get some much needed rest. Hopefully the next pictures will be minus a few items hooked up to him. We will continue to keep him and you in our prayers for a speedy recovery. Karen Duncan
Please give Ethan a kiss from Uncle Lee and Aunt Cheri. We miss him and you. We will continue to pray that he gets better by the minute. We love you all!

You don't know me, but our family and friends have been praying for you, Matt and especially for Ethan since Darlene Jones told us about Ethan's illness. I am so thankful everything is going so well with all of you. The news about Ethan doing well sent chills through my body. Just know that he has been on our prayer list at church since day one. Darlene Jones sent me the link to your blog. She had previously asked for prayers for your little boy and family. I am glad to finally place faces with names. So glad to hear that Ethan went through the surgery so well and is on the road to recovery. Will keep you all in my thoughts and prayers as you are away from home and on your return journey safely home.
I am so glad that everything is going so well. I read your updates every night and Cheri keeps me updated during the day. The pictures are Great - He is so precious. We will continue praying for Ethan and for you and Matt. God has BIG plans for Ethan's life.
